We’re Having a Baby!
I’M PREGNANT! I can’t believe I’m finally typing this out and sharing with the world. Keeping such a huge, life-changing, secret has been hard to keep. Baby Wagner is coming November 2020! It feels so surreal to say it out loud (or type it, ha!), because I have always dreamed of becoming a mom. I get so excited just thinking about it! Adam (my husband) and I had been praying for this day to come, and feel as though this little one is a gift. We are already so thankful that God chose us to be this baby’s parents.
My pregnancy has been the reason why I haven’t been very present on social media lately. To tell you the truth, I haven’t been feeling very well, and I haven’t felt much like being on social media. I also haven’t really felt like I’ve had anything interesting to share, since I’ve just been in bed and trying to get through each day. It’s been such a roller-coaster of emotion, physical changes, and “morning” sickness. Thankfully, I’m starting to feel a bit better now that the first trimester is complete.
*I’ll write up a separate blog post all about my first trimester and what I’ve been experiencing. There are so many things I wished I had been mentally prepared for (why doesn’t anyone talk about these things!?), so I’d love to share my experience to help you mamas-to-be. If sharing the hard parts is what it takes to help even ONE of you guys, it will be worth it to me.
I am currently 16 weeks along as I write this, and could not feel more proud to say it. These last few months have been a whirlwind. Especially with the pandemic happening right now, I’ve been really feeling off “my game.” Small victories (like washing my hair or emptying the dishwasher) are everything these days. But enough talk of the hardships of pregnancy, let’s move on to a more exciting topic: THE GENDER.
We don’t know the gender yet, but we will in just 3 weeks when we do the next ultrasound! We plan on doing a gender reveal once we find out, so that we can share the news with our friends and family (and you guys, of course). It will be such an exciting moment!
